Juno Genetics puts faith in social and environmental sustainability.

Juno Genetics, the cutting-edge international laboratory specialised in genetic tests, cooperates, through its headquarters in Valencia (Spain), with the social company “Proyectos Extraordinarios”, starting a circular economy project of triple impact (social, economic and environmental) reusing nautical sails to produce bags which will be offered in the ESHRE 39th Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. June 25-28th, 2023.

“Proyectos Extraordinarios” is a social company which transforms residues into valuable products, in this way generating sustainable employment for women who have difficulties accessing the labour market in Spain and Africa.

According to Nacho Gomez-Trenor, Juno Genetics’ responsible in Europe, “in this type of conferences, besides focusing on our business, we are able to transmit values to our stakeholders which we feel identified with. This project has a direct influence on the ODS 2030 sustainable development goals, number 5 “gender equality”, number 8 “decent jobs and economic growth” and number 12 “responsible production and consumption -.”
